NEW YORK ALUMNAE CHAPTER AGAPE FUND
Beginning in 2021 from a general donation from Alumna Yolanda F. Johnson and other sisters, the Agape Fund was created to aid New York Alumnae Chapter Members experiencing financial hardships or emergencies. Examples of financial hardship include, but are not limited to, members facing job loss or unemployment; inability to pay bills, rent, groceries, utilities, or other required expenses.
Members may request funds, up to $250, to aid in whatever financial hardship they face. Requests can be made via email to the President, Treasurer, or a third, non-Executive Board member designated by the President each year. All applications are reviewed within 1 week and are kept strictly confidential.
